• If light rainfall is difficult to detect, try changing the map type.

Overview:

• The app overlays various meteorological information onto maps, including:
• • Map Layers (13 Types):
    • Google Maps (4 Types)
    • Geospatial Information Authority of Japan Maps (3 Types)
    • OpenStreetMap (6 Types)
  • Meteorological Layers (4 Types):
    • Precipitation (JMA)
    • Landslide Risk (JMA)
    • Flood Risk (JMA)
    • Lightning Strikes (JMA)

Screen Operation Guide:

• Use the forward and backward buttons in the toolbar for time adjustments in 5-minute increments.
• The slider allows you to display information from past arbitrary times (precipitation nowcasts include forecasts as well).
• The play button enables animated displays starting from one hour ago (when viewing past information, animation is shown from that specific time).
• A long press on the map screen facilitates switching between map layers.

Settings Screen Features:

• Map Type: Switch between different map displays.
• Main Layer Type: Toggle the layer information displayed.
• Layer Transparency: Adjust transparency settings for meteorological layers.
• Scale Display: View equidistant scale information from your current location.
• Center on Current Location at Startup: Displayes centered on current location upon launch.
• Suspend Mode: Option to disable suspend mode settings.
• Auto-Update: Configurable setting to update precipitation information at specified intervals.
